Over thirty years ago, in the picturesque hills of Brown County, Indiana, Vickie Reynolds opened her first retail shop.  Originally, her store sold mostly western wear.  However, after she became more familiar with the local motorcycle culture, Reynolds felt a pull to change directions.  Brown County could use more bikers, and bikers could use more quality leather.  Reynolds took to the roads, and quickly established herself as a staple in the motorcycle swap meet scene, learning more about what people expected, and how she could exceed those expectations.  Now, more than thirty years later, Reynolds’ Leather & Gifts has not only become known for having the finest quality leather at the best prices, but they also carry the finest fashion leather such as bomber jackets, car coats, and women’s fashion jackets.  As a carry-over from her western wear days, Reynolds also carries several styles of boots, shoes, sandals and moccasins.

Brown County — more specifically, Nashville — is located in southern Indiana.  The town’s rolling hills, and natural beauty have inspired and delighted bikers and nature lovers for generations.  Known as, ‘The Gates of the Brown County State Park,’ it is easy to see why so many artists settled in the area back in the early 1900’s, and why so many campers continue to visit today.  From its humble start as an artist colony, to now, with more than 200 unique, artisan shops, Nashville never lost sight of what made it so special.  Of course, we at Reynolds’ Leather would love to see you, but so would Nashville’s glass blowers, hand-churned caramel corn makers, basket weavers, ice cream shoppes, candy stores, as well as our hundreds of other artisans.  And, if you’re looking for world-class music, we’re so proud of the new 2,000 (indoor) seat Brown County Music Center!
